Climate Change and Asset Management Workshop

Federation of Canadian Municipalities
March 17, 2020
Moncton, NB
Are you interested in learning how to integrate climate considerations into your municipality’s asset management activities? Does your municipality have existing asset management practices, an inventory of your assets, and an understanding of climate vulnerabilities? We can provide guidance for next steps.

Attend a workshop to hear from climate change, asset management and regional experts. You’ll learn actions your municipality can take to adapt asset management practices to become more resilient to climate change. Participants will benefit from:

  • Practical information and tools to help manage asset risk and vulnerability
  • Real world examples of climate integration within regional contexts
  • Information on green infrastructure and community resilience
  • Knowledge on accessing and using climate projections for infrastructure planning
  • Connecting to and identifying a network of peers
